Joan Mayernick is a native of Florida with over 18 years of profound relocation and real estate experience gained from numerous moves during her husband’s military career as an Air Force Chaplain.

While stationed in the beautiful Emerald Coast in 1989, Joan worked for the State of Florida as a Public Assistance Counselor where her strengths in client relations enabled her to prepare budgets based on financial information and helped meet the needs of her clients.

The military then sent the Mayernicks to Ramstein, Germany where Joan took on the responsibilities of a staff substitute teacher for three years, allowing her additional time to travel throughout Europe. Joan is sensitive to the concerns of parents and students entering into new school districts and is very qualified to help with a smooth transition. She has spent a lifetime dedicated to her mission of making a profound and positive difference in peoples lives.

Joan first became interested in real estate in 1977 while taking real estate classes in college. She graduated Cum Laude from Lackawana Junior College with an Associates Degree in Business and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She also obtained the prestigious designation of GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) after joining Carriage Hills in 1998. Joan is a consistent Multi-Million Dollar producer.

Joan and her husband, Frank, have four children. Their two oldest children, Laura and Frank, are both Niceville High School and Florida State University graduates. Their youngest son, Nicholas, is currently enrolled at the University of North Florida as is their youngest daughter, Elizabeth.
